I do it for.... The Prayer Child Foundation
As the years have passed, I have devoted more and more of my time to promoting the Prayer Child Foundation. Most of you know that my goal with my business is to quit my job teaching and do Gold Canyon full time. I think that my real calling in life is for the kids that we touch through the Prayer Child Foundation. I think that my job teaching was just a stepping stone to get my to where I am today, and I would have never met my up-line, Nikki, had I not been a teacher first! Thank you Nikki for helping me to reach for the stars and help the children who need it so much, and thanks to all of my customers, friends and family who support the Prayer Child Program! My Gold Canyon Story
I remember when I was a little girl going into my grandmothers house and smelling the scent of fresh baked cookies. It was always funny how grandma always had sugar cookies there on her counter, inside the tupperware with a slice of bread to keep them moist. I would sneak out and open the container and get some cookies to eat on the front porch. Every time I light a sugar cookie baking line candle I re-live those moments as a little girl at my grandmothers.
Fragrance is the most powerful memory cue, and I am amazed by how warm I feel when I have a fragrance remind me of something in my past. That is the power of Gold Canyon Candles, they have the ability to bring back things that may have been forgotten.
